As part of my re-vamping I've removed the Truma heater / fan and there is a small square hole that shows the grass underneath the caravan. I'm assuming I have to block this with something now, but what is best? It's in the bottom of the wardrobe so shall I just plonk some wood over it and seal?
Withou seeing it it is hard to advise, but if small avent may be suitable, put one one both sides. To fill exterior ply 6mm glued and screwed on top and bottom and the infill could be a piece of polystyrene to fit.
I would remove the aluminium trim and screw some thin plywood each side, then drill two small holes in the top one and inject builders foam into it. It will be watertight and sealed then.

i took my heater out also, it was going to cost too much to get fixed, and we always use electric hook ups and have now fitted an electric heater where the as fire was.
I infilled the hole with 2 or 3 layers of plywood, (what ever you need to make up the thickness)I then got a new section of ply for the cupboard floor and screwed it down to the floor and also screwed it into the new infill section, that then held it in place.
