Hi

When I try to ignite the water heater using the gas, the green light comes on and it arcs across, but after 30 seconds the red light comes on and it stops arcing.  Any ideas what could cause this problem?   There is gas going to the cooker, water in the tank, gas bottles are full, and the gas fire works.  It is a Bailey Louisiana 2005, series 5.

not sure of your heater,have you removed the cover outside if its a truma water heater?? will not stay lit with this on.

Have now removed the outside cover, and it works    thank you
