Hi Guy's

After giving my (Nov 2009) Lunar Quasar a dam good clean today I have found fault no 41 !

Seems the shower tray has cracked around a screw hole.

I have removed the cap and screw and it seems to have been pre-drilled.

Will this be covered under warranty ?

I am sick to death of this van now, and will be my second and final Lunar

Any advice welcome.

can not see why this is not covered under warranty.this happens when the hole is too small for the screw, the screw has rusted and expanded or it was done up too tight.

UPDATE.......

Lunar have agreed to replace the shower tray and the dealer has one on order, will probably take 4-6 months to get a hold of if anything in the past has anything to go by.

Fine by me though as my van is on a seasonal pitch till October.

I was prepared for a battle on my hands but fair do to Lunar for this one !

Thanks all !!

This looks more like an expansion crack to me , Knowing Lunars reputation for leaking, I would have a thorough damp check done in the area!

It's on an inside wall against the fixed bed not on an outside wall !
Service and damp test done in December and lives under cover in a barn.

Hey My Caravan Peeps...........Had a problem with my shower tray and a company called Speedliner did a brill repair. They have dealers all over,Iam from up north.

They give you a protective coating better than any gels and sealers plus they do a choice of colours. Go wild.

Its a great solution, would recomend!!!!
