Thanks for the reply, adjusted the switch like you said and the water is running fine with no clicking at all, and the pump switches off straight away.   I just couldn't understand why the pressure switch had water spraying out of it but after fiddling with the dial it stopped. I thought maybe the pressure was set too high.

This is the first weekend out with the van, and its been a very stressful one!

sounds like a faulty pressure switch as no water should leave it at any time.might be ok but keep an eye on it.

Sounds like you have a problem with the pressure switch unit , as michael says , it shouldn't leak , even if the pump was running with the taps turned off .
Saying this in a nice way , you either need to find out why it's leaking or replace the unit . You could leave till the end of your hols , but keep a close watch on it till then and turn your pump off when not using it .

well we got back yesterday and not a drop of water anywhere for 2 days, so not sure what happened there.  have just bought another switch off ebay just in case :)

Sorry to sound thick but where is the water pressure switch ??

We have just bought a buccaneer schooner 2004 model and the pump won't stop pumping when we put it on so have read the above and am now assuming its this pressure switch but don't know where to find it to make an adjustment. Can anyone help please ?

Thankyou so much for a speedy reply. Think it will be a phone call to White Arches in the morning where we bought it from to get their help as at the moment nothing we do will cure the problem
