Sounds like the bottle could be nearly empty, otherwise how old is regulator? Bottle top regulators don't last forever & bulkhead regulators have been known to fail after just a couple of yrs.
Agree about the gas problem. But I have had the same regulator for years and it's as good as the new one I keep - just in case! ( I caravan all year around so I use propane as butane won't gas off below freezing as I guess many of you have found out one frosty night! )

bottle near empty is my guess or too cold outside.we had no breakfast one morning but is was minus 8 to 10 and keswick lake was frozen enough for us to walk on. i was on blue bottle and only use red now.

No - Bottle is full and temp outside was 10 degrees
ok as Tentz says if its bulkhead regulator then this a probable cause because they have not solved this problem as yet.i met a man in the caravan across last October and his had packed up and he was waiting for the engineer.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
I had this problem a few years ago except that I had no gas even though the bottle was full. The warden even tried a brand new bottle but it still wouldn't work. I had it checked out and it turned out that it was the bulkhead regulator. It was to low down and had to be replaced, this was done free of charge by the dealer.
