There may not be one! I dont know about your van, but my old avondale had no filter. If there isn't one, and it bothers you, you can get retrofit in line filters from acsesory shops, and fit it yourself.

------------- there are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
I suppose you have looked already, but common places to find them are either in line and sometimes tucked up near the back of the kitchen sink, or on the exterior where the waterpump connects into the caravan under the flap, theres often what looks like a clear plastic twist in cap which when unscrewed brings out the disposable filter cartridge.
On my old '93 Avondale Olympus, it was the sort that was tucked up behind the sink.

I haven't got a water filter on my caravan either and thought it was quite unusual so I looked in the Coachman manual that was provided with the caravan and according to the exploded view of the water system there was never one fitted when manufactured. Although I had caravan previously fitted with a water filter as standard I prefer it without actually as they serve no constructive purpose really and can be a bit of a pain when it comes to sterilising the fresh water system out periodically.
ive just bought a coachman laser and got new filter for it, but i found this round plastic thing in caravan sink ive fiddled around with it,but cant seem to fathom out where it goes, can anyone help,it was different on my other van.
The Coachman Laser probably has an in-line filter that fits somewhere under the sink or adjacent cupboard. Although I know a few people who have lasers in the Coachman Owners Club I'm not too familiar with them myself but you could telephone Coachman Caravans in Hull for advice on 01482-839737 as their customer service is quite good.
