I have a 1994 Elddis that has a floor delamination problem, I dont tow the van any more it lives on site on the Moray coast in Scotland, can anyone suggest where to get this fixed without dragging it hundreds of miles... I know its a fairly straightforward repair but im just not physically able to do it.
If you have had this work carried out in Morayshire/Aberdeenshire or you possibly know someone who would carry out the work at reasonable cost please let me know. Thanks.

Try Turriff Caravans. If they don't travel, they may suggest someone for you. We've always found them very helpful.

I did try them, and getting a quote was crazy, it was the most amateur thing I have ever experienced.
They started by telling me they had done one a few months before and dug out the invoice, £1600 they announced... then three of them stood looking at me... I swallowed hard and said "you must be kidding" I did at that time have some idea of what was involved and told them so, they then had another look at the invoice and said "oh that did include a new carpet, a full (twin axle) service and several other jobs. They then said it might involve cutting out a large section of floor to do a "proper job" so around £600.
I have seen companies quoting around £150 -£200 for a repair involving just one resin kit....
So thanks but I wont be giving Turriff caravans any of my work any time soon... or in fact ever!! Thanks anyway.
hi is there not a dealer/repair shop at dyce, there used to be years ago cant remember its name though
myra
Its Dyce caravans... oddly!!
If their accessories are anything to go by I would guess that repairs would be mighty expensive, although thats a bit unfair, I might give them a phone for a quote... Thanks.
if your on a campsite is there not a handyman type there ,any site we have been on there has always been an odd job man ,you could maybe buy the kit and pay him something to do it ,good luck with it anyway hope you get it repaired soon

The handyman is also the site owner... so thats not an option sadly... I have given this some thought.
we found when we were on site there was usually a handy man who lived there most of the time ,not an owner ,someone who does wee jobs constantly all the time on their van and who seems to live there most of the season, they are usually helpfull and looking for a bob or two ,hope you get soemone
