Had my Ace Aristorcrat serviced and it was found that the battery was not being charged by the van ,my dealer has replaced the I think it is called the Nordic electric fuse box,as soon as this was done my display panel showed 14.7 from a reading before showing 13.4
A few days after the panel showed 13.8 so I turned the the switch off on the box under the seat waited and then turned it on a little while after the panel read 14.7 again but by the evening it had con down to 14.0
Do I have the same problem of the battery not charging ,as my caravan is still under warranty
Also on the display panel should the light be on the indicator of the charger and caravan symbol and water symol all the time the manual does not make it clear
the voltage shown will drop when the charger is off because it is reading the battery voltage , when the charger is on it is reading the voltage from the charger
not sure about new age chargers but nearly all caravan chargers will only charge your battery to a max of 13.5 volts, this is the reason it is a good idea to take the battery off once a year and give it a boost on a car charger or the like.14.7 volts is the charger voltage when on EHU.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
