Should the underside of my caravan floor be sealed? It is bare wood as it left  the factory at the moment but is now 9 years old .

It is having floor delamination repaired soon so just wondering if this should be done aswell.

No it doesn't need it.  As michael says, it would cause more problems that it would solve!

i would have thought that it wasnt 'bare wood' but treated wood, with some sort of preservative? happy to stand corrected by someone who really knows though!!

if it is treated with preservative, would it do any harm to retreat, not suggesting with sealant etc, but clear odourless timber treatment?
