Hi, i wonder if anybody has any info concerning a problem with my dometic fridge lock. This is our 1st van and we used it for the 1st time at the weekend when on the second day we could not get into our fridge? its a dometic with a sliding lock half way along the top of the fridge door as you slide the the tab to open the lock nothing happens? i managed to remove the plastic suround on the top part of the fridge and open the lock with a screw driver and on inspection the slide is not moving the catch. So if anybody has had a similar experience could they please point me in the right direction as how to fix this problem.

Sorry not come accros this type of catch.  Has something go into the track stopping the slider fully retracting!

you will find that the slider has broken  the catch sits in a little grove and you will find one side of the grove snaped  just pull the slider towards you it will pop off

you can get a new slider from most caravan shops
