After being forced into a wall by a "considerate" coach driver , I'm trying to find some replacement awning rail for our 2007 Avocet. As we all know, Avondale went bust several years ago, and AFAIK, all the rail went to Magnum Motorhomes and then got nicked by scrap thieves. All I can find now is the bare aluminium stuff, but I need the powder-coated cream rail. Does anyone know of any Avocets being broken or any good source for suitable rail? I could buy all bare ali, of course, but the cost would be eye-watering!
can you not buy the ali stuff and then give it a light coat of cream spray paint from a spitty can - even do the other side to match in the paint. Might be worth a go and cheaoer than replaceing all to match

Johnjory: Yes, that is the stuff I need. I have had various chats with Magnum, but thanks for the suggestion.
Kitten: Nah, I already have a strip which was treated that way, but the paint flakes off. Apparently the bare metal has to be acid-etched and fiddled about with first, and I haven't got that sort of kit any more. Thanks for trying, though.
Does anyone know where I can purchase any Avondale, early 90s awning rail. If it’s not available does anyone know if the complete new strip is what will have to happen, and, is the rail easy to shape or best done by a pro’. Thanks.
