hiya

Just getting our swift charisma 230 (2003) prepared for next weekend away

It was all drained for winter, been flushing the water system and on running the shower discovered a leak!

Stripped it all apart and have discovered the rear connections on the shower tap (white plastic part has cracked and leak is coming from here! Any ideas if this could be temporary fixed?

Been searching online for a replacement part with no luck!! Our tap has no manufacturer name or anything!

Its a single lever mixer tap - the connections to the pipe go straight through the back of it and the shower connection is straight above. (If that makes sense!)

scared to order the wrong thing since they are so expensive!!

found the right tap -

Ours looks exactly like this - Only found it on one website so far tho and £65 delivered! Sob!!!

Hi Kirsty, just came back from a weekend in Stratford without no runnin g water.   seems we may  have the same problem.  Go the other half to take tap apart and found that the white plastic bit (thingy) had cracked in several places. Just hoping that we can buy the bit that broken rater than a new expensive tap.   Fingers crossedn hope you get yours sorted xxx

Just got back after a one night stay in our van and have had exactly the same problem. Cost of £55 for a new fitting and fixed in minutes. Did try a 'quick' repair but it didn't work and on closer inspection it was knackered so only way was a trip to Catterick Caravans where we got the last one so I reckon we're not alone.
