Have you tried freedom caravans. They should be able to provide a replacement but wouldn't be cheap. Only other option would be trying a local breakers yard.

Hi all :)
I've just bought myself a Freedom Microlite yeay!!
The front window is badly broken on the inner laminate. I just called ee-co and the cost would be £297 to replace. This compares favourably with Freedom's own charges but is too much for me at the moment, as I'm renovating the van and already spending the fees for my old-folk's-home bed.
I've probably spent half that in phone calls around the country trying to find one from a breakers. The size is not standard and Freedom's tend to be repaired rather than scrapped, so no second-hand ones.
Is it possible to make the aperture wider/larger to accommodate a similar sized window? <--- I bet that's a really stupid question.
Thanks Em

I once resized a windscreen on a GTM fibreglass sportscar to take a later model screen. It was a big job, involving a lot of skill to make a secure and safe modification. I have a Microlite and would not attempt to resize the screen. I would keep on searching whilst saving up.  If I hear of one , I will seek you out on this forum  Just think how good the new screen will look !

Hah!!
I just for access to reply to your response Dinkum :)

Thank you very much for your advice. As a newby I will absorb every word of wisdom. Thank you for putting me off the idea of re-sizing. I didn't want to do it.
My van lining is in good condition but is dark blue. I was thinking of replacing it with car carpet in a lighter colour, but am a bit daunted. Would you advise this? See I want to make my van pretty rather than standard dark blue or - worse - brown.
I'm going to rejig the current kitchen which is a hob/grill and sink. To incorporate a fridge. My van has the low back window, so I have to fit it in the current kitchen space - shouldn't be too difficult.
The gas pipe (am I boring you yet?) from the locker to the fire (open so has to come out) is copper and steel, so I thought, while I'm having that replaced and extended to fridge, that I haven't got yet, made safe, and a bit more electric wiring, I might as well take out the lining.
Am I off my head? (Yes sometimes) or does this sound perfectly reasonable?
I'd have to remake the kitchen unit myself, so need to source lightweight wood. I thought I'd make a frame for wardrobe door and just hang a curtain behind it.
If you need paying to answer all these questions, I could arrange for wine or chocolate to wend your way :)
Em
