Whats the best grease to use on the corner steadier's please?

Don't think you need a "special" grease like High Melting Point or Extreme Pressure - I'd use whatever is to hand in your shed/garage.

(When I read your unedited post, I thought "yes, lard would probably do the job"!)

Don't use grease as anything off the road  e.g stone chippings, could stick to that and mess up the screw. I use Duckhams oil
