Press and hold the reset button for a few seconds, this is on the side of the main control box, the green led to the side of the button will now begin to flash.
Switch on the remote and the control box will find it, if/when it does, it will perform a check and all the relays will click on and off in quick succession.
If it does not find the remote make sure remote batteries are good and or making good connections.
Thanks Gary tried all that to no avail. New handset batteries fitted. When connecting caravan battery the green light starts flashing immediately. Press the reset button and the relays start to chatter all the time the button is pressed. The green light never stops flashing. the remote red light does come on when pressed twice but does not have any effect on the controller at all. Thanks for trying.
I take it then you only have the one green light? to me the constant flashing will be a fault code.
This then depends on the model of control board, if I'm right yours would be a 'mid' one which were not very good to start with!
The early ones and particularly the last one were better, so whats the model number on the control box cover.
I think though as a first guess, theres a relay stuck on?
Thanks again Gary-- as its my friend with the problem I do not have model numbers handy-- yes only one green light. My pal insists it was one of the early ones. Ebay sellers are selling refurbished control panels and hand sets for £150 and that might be the way to go. Truma tech services open on Tues and may shed some light. Once again though thanks for your help. Raydo
just had the same problem- stuck relays- thanks for the tip Gary worked well!!! Only problem left is tghe handset which eats the batteries but easily solved by removing them!!
