Can you post some photo's of the damage on here.  Wizard is your man as is "the fixed it club"

From my limited experience, damp repairs tend to look much worse than they really are.  As has been said, it is very labour intensive but is also very basic woodwork skills.

If you havn't got it already I would reccommend getting the Haynes caravan manual.

Just to give you an idea, a couple of years ago I was doing a project (my first project) which was something on the scale of this one

The only reason I gave up was because I went Lorry Driving.  When you are away from early monday till saturday morning and having the bare minimum legal 45hours weekly rest, You want to use that as family time and recouperating time.  Hence I gave the project up.

If I had continued I would have a very decen't Van now and not scrabbling about looking for a dirt cheap (or freebie) project to start again.

Like I said, that wasn't actually my van, but one of the fix it club members van's.

Mine ended up being sold to a neighbour who is using it as a mess hut whilst seeing to their horses.  Its a shame really because it could have been a nice van.
