Hi can anyone help?

I have a Carver Caravelle Trumatic SBE 1800 in my old swift danette (1981) & non of the wires are connected (all unplugged or snapped)

Red, Blue, Black, Green, White, Yellow, from Temp controller.

Live & Earth both In-line Fused from fuse box

Brown & Blue From Gas regulator the Brown wire has what looks like a rivet through it with a few spade connectors snapped on it with a thick grayish wire still attached with a large spade connector on the end.

Igniter has a wire copper wire connected with a heat shield on it going down into the fire unit.

Also a wire coming out of the fire unit with a heat shield on whitish wire with a blue covered small spade connector plugged into a connector block?

Hope this all makes sense to someone!

Thanks Steve.

No it controls the room temperature, the water heaters sensor being on the other end of the unused white wire, yours is in on control switch.
Carefully check the solder tags of the component the dials connected too, ones not connected to anything but the other two are and are often cracked.
Also the similar but smaller component on one end of the board, this is fine adjustment and the centre slot is marked with an arrow at one end, make sure this arrow points up between twelve and one O'clock.
Also make sure you have a 'caravelle' switch, the water heater switch will work but obviously in a different far higher temperature range
