What is the best polish for the front & back panels of the caravan. I don't want to use anything that is going to cause a chemical reaction with the material and cause cracks in later years.

i use MER and tripple wax ,never had a problem.my opinion is dirt and algae cause more problems than your wax will ever do.

3M do a range of products for restoring and protecting plastics from UV light which is probably the biggest cause of damage to plastics such as ABS and fibreglass. I do however have my doubts about the suitability of some of the petroleum based chemicals and the effects they have in the long term on the durability of plastics.

Some people recomended this stuff on an other thread i posted and it works.They use it on boats,just apply and buff off no hard work,..Click

Hi there,I have been attempting to bring back the shine on the front panel of my Europa,using Werkstat Acrylic kit from Polished Bliss,first a coat of prime which deep cleaned and sealed, followed with the polish/wax spray.It has restored and protected the panel although not as "glass"like as i hoped.At around £50 for the kit it aint cheap but i have loads left and spent 9 hours on my car with it.It really looks amazing!!!Maybe my van front is just too matt to bring back.I would recommend this product but also the Farecla gel coat sound good too.
