hi does anyone know how to replaced grit rollers on powrtouch 3 mover have removed end cap and drive gear cover but still not able to remove grit rollers thanks dave

Dave,
I would suggest calling powrtouch technical dept. They are very helpful and would be the best to offer advice. They have bent over backwards in the past to assist me with my problems.

from what i can remember apart from end caps they went into the gear box from the rear before removal was possible.as said give them a ring nothing lost.

Once you have removed the end plate (3 screws) remove the 2 screws from the rear gearbox plate, using an allen key remove the screw holding the drive gear, remove the intermediate gear and the one with the screw removed, then lightly tap the roller out with a wooden rod, refit is reverse, don't forget to repack the gearbox with grease.

Hi - I'm curious how you managed to get the end-plates off. I've taken out the three bolts, but I can't seem to get the plate off.

I've taken out the gears from the back, taken out the screw holding the drive gear, but nothing's moving. Or rather, I'm able to spin the roller round and I'm able to spin the end-cap around independently from the roller, but I certainly can't separate them.

Any ideas?

end plate seized onto the roller by the bearing,the bearings can be a pig to get out if you need to change them.
