Slightly off topic but many moons ago my father built a sidecar for his Lambretta scooter which was not too dissimilar in shape to the teardrop caravans. He was a cabinet maker by trade and did a fantastic job.
He then decided to take my mother and I for a run to the coast and off we set with mother in the sidecar and me on pillion. It was a scorching hot day and after about an hour I glanced down to see my mother waving at me, so I waved back. After another 15 minutes or so I glanced down again and mother was waving frantically. I then noticed the sidecar windows were all steaming up. My father had made such a good, airtight and waterproof job of the sidecar that my mother was slowly suffocating
We had to stop and roll back the canvas roof to let some air in. Teardrop caravans always remind me of that incident.
