hi all can somebody please help

my cold taps dont work in kitchen and sink but shower ok can i change the switches or have i got to replace taps van in question abi award transtar pre 1990

thanks in advance to all that can help

If they are micro switches you can replace them but it's a bit of a fiddly job to do as you need to be a contortionist really to be able to get to the switches as they are directly under the tap behind the sink and wash basin. I haven't got micro switches on my caravan, it's a pressure switch so the system is different but I have briefly read about micro switches in the Caravanning Handbook by John Wickersham. This is where I got the information from so hope this helps with your query as I know that you don't have to change the taps.

< I think the word you are looking for is contortionist, extortionist if he is overcharged for the micro switches

It may be easier to remove the taps to replace the switch, but worth having a look first in case it's just a wire unplugged.
