Hi Kelly. Congratulations on your new van and I hope you have many happy holidays in it. Regarding your problem, I assume you mean your mains sockets. Now please don't take this the wrong way, but I assume you do have it plugged into the mains, and the mains socket in the house or wherever is working. Does anything in the van work on the mains? I don't know your van, but somewhere there will be a mains distribution unit, normally under a seat close to where the mains lead is plugged in. Taking things to their simplest, it probably looks like a small version of the "fuseboard" you have in the house. They normally have three switches, one which controls the main power and the other two feed the circuits in the van. Are these switched on (normally they switch on upwards, the opposite way to a normal light switch). They can sometimes be quite stiff.

Try this and see if it does any good.

Pete

Thanks for your reply, we figured out a way of testing the hook up lead and for some reason it isn't working. I am sure that when I buy a new one tomorrow the problem will be solved.

Hi again Kelly. If you are up to it, why not first check the plug and socket on your hook-up lead. Those blue (commando) plugs are really easy to rewire as it may be that a connection has come loose. They just connect with screws like a normal plug.

Pete
