Hi Louiseg9, Welcome to the forum, I have the Compass Lynx 340/2 1998 (pic in gallery) I think it is about the same spec as your van,If you use Tango55's link you scroll down to bottom of page and click on the compass link, there you will find a list of modles in PDF format, they only go back to the year 2000, but you can contact them by phone or email, I contacted them by phone and they sent me the specs and drawings in PDF form via email, no cost and very helpfull. The Max weight will be on the plate next to door. My van weighs 900k Max loaded,If you are totally new to towing a caravan, here is a note about speeds,
Just a word of caution on the towing speeds, Max speed on Motorways 60mph, caravans and trailers not allowed in the outside lane of motorway, unless the inner lanes blocked. Dual carriage ways Max 60mph. All other single lane two way roads are 50mph Max. Even if that road speed is higher.
There is a Fetures/Tips button at the top of the site, gives you lists of things you need to prepair before setting off on your trip, setting up on site, essentual things you need. Congratulations on your new van, and any questions you need to ask, you will find help here, (and any question you do not know the answer to is not a Daft question)Oh you now have the incureable bug called caravaning all you can do now is Enjoy it.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
