Help please!! Went to close my front locker and it has parted company with the metal work. It looks like it is attached to the plastic door by four flat discs. Does anyone know the best way on how to fix this?? Am quite good at DIY. Thanks for any help

Hi, other half not too well so pic will have to be tomorrow but we reckon it is fibreglass - all lumpy on the inside. Have considered the suggestion about no nails glue but as this flexes quite a bit when on the road the t'other half think that this may break again. If this only repairable with a fibreglass patch does anyone know where we can get hold of a kit? Will post photo tomorrow Thanks Tracey

Hi, Any car accessories shop
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
I have used Fibreglass on several places on my Buccaneer Elan. eg the hinge on my cable locker. I just mix up a small amount on an old plate and cut a peice of the glass fibre matting to the size required. "paint the base area with the resin, place the hinge in the desired position then paste the glass fibre to hold the hinge in place. You will be surprised just how strong it is after a few minutes1 Good luck...
