hi there just got back from my holiday in cornwall, as i was emptying the fridge leaving the door and freezer open as i always do i had a thought! the water that would run out of the fridge as it defrosts will always run on to the caravan floor under the carpet,as i always do this and im shore most people do, i was thinking!as the water goes on the floor would you think it would course the floor to rot and become de-laminated and as the front of the sink area is the most affected by de-laminated could this be one of the reasons why.i did put some paper towering to stop this and it was wet in no time
hi there just a pointer,if your freezer is freezing over with ice, perhaps you should turn the thermostat down, should have a light dusting of frost.do you fill the freezer compartment up ? or leave empty.when we empty ours just a wipe with a kitchen towel and job done.If unsure you could always check with a temp probe to take a reading. 3-5 degrees for fridge and -18 for frozen is within safe limits. hope this can help.kind regards geoff.
thanks kurt i will turn the thermostat down and check, i was thinking that the freezer part of the fridge was set and i never thought of turning the fridge down to set the temp of the freezer silly me thanks again ged
