Plz plz plz help......We have a problem with our van door lock and we are on the road this thursday. some how the key has bent when trying to force the key into the barrel, which in turn has made the whole barrel spin !!!
First question is, are all van door locks pretty much the same ??? ( i can't see any manufacturer's markings ) and next question, are they easy to fit, does anyone have any instructions ????

90% of caravan keys will have a number on them either starting with WD or MC, if this is the case you can order new from a caravan shop if key is stuck take note of the number for your other locks and then drill out the lock so you only have to replace the barrel - hope this helps

I would buy a complete handle assembly take the old one off and take it with you to a caravan accessory shop to match it to a new one I had a problem with ours it was a simple job to change the lock and exterior handle and only cost £ 20
