Hi which is the best thing to use as an oversealant on rails & rooflights.

i used sikaflex to run round the rails also using it for the bedding on of the rails

Oversealing them is just a quick fix,would advise you took the rails off and do it right.

That is what I am doing I am using mastic strip on the underside of the rails just want to know which is the best oversealent to use so I have the extra peace of mind. Their are so many different ones I didn't want to pick the wrong one up.

Soudal Fixall Crystal Clear. Available from all good plastics (facia,guttering etc) suppliers. Much cheaper the Sickaflex. An excelent adhesive too
