Hi, thanks for your reply, we have indeed realised that the water heater is repairable and has been done, we only bought a replacement on someone elses advice as we are new to vanning, The heater burst on the first trip out as the inner rod was totally perished, There must be some sort of sealant used on the gas feed connector to stop leakage, as soon as i know what it is i can refit,, The replacement is going back on ebay,,
