Hi you experienced Caravanners....We have just come back from Bedale and are going up there again on thursday for 8 days. We have a trophy two berth that would like to have serviced. We bought it last year and have used it quite a lot. I can not find any information for this (I just bought it after a few glasses of wine) but apparently there are not many about and must be quite old (not quite classic alol)....its a lovely little van and I love it...I digress...what can I expect from a service, do they just point out any repairs and what do they check and how much would I expect to pay,  I toy with the idea of getting another van but would like to keep this if poss. Does anyone know of any mobile services up near Bedale.Many thanks

Please check out the MCEA website and click on find an engineer, good value and service, the guys are caravaners themselves usually

If its an old 'van & you keep the interior ok, ie you know the cooker & fridge is ok with no gas leaks, just get a chassis service. This is remove wheels & hubs, re-pack bearings with grease, clean & adjust brakes/handbrake & grease nipples on coupling.

Cost about £70 + any parts required.
