micro switch fault.the reason you get water when other taps are turned on is because you are starting the pump with them.change micro switch.check to see if you have wires going to the taps to confirm.

We had this, but a microswitch system.  Turned out the hot tank was filling, but had loads of crud in it.  We only discovered this when we were off to buy spare parts to try & fix it...we opened the drain plug then the 'fast drain' (top left corner of the outer cowel, should look like a screw thread - turn the screw quarter turn, if there but no screw thread (like ours as it's missing) pull gently on what's there with fine nose pliers(does the same thing))  Out will gush water & a load of crud!!

If this is the problem, you can descale with white vinegar & water (50/50 mix I believe)..not sure what to do but poss......fill tank, turn on, let it heat then when hot, turn off, empty & flush with loads of fresh water until clear of vinegar smell.  Am sure other can advise much better than I about the descaling process.
