Would this stuff be ok to use on my awning?

waterproofing clicky

The awning is a bit old and after my wife decided to ram it in the washing machine and wash it on a 60 degree wash I think theres no waterproofing left on the cotton.

thanks

To be honest they came up really well, had to scrub the roof with a brush and washing up liquid and stick it in again, but the windows all exactly the same as when they went in.

If it was me personally I'd try a 40 degree wash on the plastic just incase though!! we were lucky.

I didnt have the guts to put the awning in the washer, we used pure soap flakes and a brush, and the spray fabsil, we hung the awning over the banister to make sure it was dry. Ours turned out fine. Ours is a pre 1993 Isabella 680 combi.

Wow! You must have an enormous washing machine or a small awning. Even with the panels out I dont think it would fit in mine!

I think you will need more than 2.5l for a full size awning to do the job right. You have to " wet " the material not just spray lightly on..
