It is as good to hear people praise something/one that has done anything in these days of take all. Whether it be individual or company. As a  lot of people just  have forgotten the word thanks.

So thanks for sharing your job well done, somebodya mya give them a look now simply for what after sales they did.

I have been looking for somebody to service our van as I don,t fancy a run to chorley

I looked on peter roberts web site and they have a special offer on £189 for a twin axle which i don,t think is bad and will be booking it in.....

We finally decided to move from camping to caravanning earlier this summer, if you could call it a summer. Having read lots of reviews on vans, and taking lots more information and advice from  this forum, we began our long search for the right van. During May and June we travelled to various dealers close to home and began to get an idea of the various layouts for the van we required. Finally after seeeing many vans and reading lots of brochures, we, that is the wife, decided on the layout of the Elddis Avante 515, then came the hard part, finding an acceptable van.

We travelled to all the local dealers and did not find an acceptable van, either through price or condition, at this point we decided to travel further afield and found our way down the A1 to Peter Roberts Caravans. On arrival we were greated by friendly staff, offered refreshments and given access to all the vans on display. We agreed to buy the van they had in stock that met our requirements, we paid a deposit and agreed to return a week later to collect.

On our return we were given a 2 hour induction on the workings of the van, provided with all the equipment we required for basic use of the van and shown the routine for hitching to the car. We left feeling very happy and content and towed the van to the Lake District, after a few days we realised there was water apearing under the toilet door, this was traced to a leaking tap and isolated. On our return I contacted Peter Roberts and they said thay would deal with the repair and somebody would make arrangements to travel over. With guidance from them I arranged for a replacement part to be sent out and to be fitted by myself.

The service we recieved from Peter Roberts Caravans from purchase to collection and aftersales  was excellant, the van was exactly as advertised, I would definately return to purchase another van when we, the wife, decides to upgrade.
