I've just picked up this little gem of info out of the latest C.C. Mag.
If like me you have a Thetford C-250CWE toilet fitted before 1st April 2010 then the chances are your flush pump has or will crack due to frost damage. Although Thetford kindly replaced it with an uprated one it didn't seem to fix the root cause, namely, water stays in the U-tube and freezes even though the system appears 'drained'.
Thetford have a free retrofit for those affected, an easy 10 minute job they say so I have applied for one.
To receive the part with fitting instructions free of charge:-
email C250draintube at thetford.eu. Include your contact details,serial number of your toilet,(located under the bottom of your holding tank) and the chassis number, make and model of your vehicle. Simples!!
