I must have left something on in the caravan and managed to drain the battery and nothing was showing on the voltage metre on the caravan panel. Woops. I have taken it out and placed it on charge in the garage using a Accumate charger that usually keeps the Elise topped up :)
It's been on charge for over a week and I'm only seeing 11.3v on the battery meter. I ran a similar exercise back in the summer (though not after a full discharge) and it was (IIRC) hitting 13. something.
Does this suggest the battery is past its best? I'm intending to go away over new year so would like to have it sorted by then, although I'll have an electric hook up.
Try charging with a normal trickle charger &/or see if it charges up while you drive to site. If you are on ehu it won't matter if battery has had it anyway, so you should have established state of battery by the time you get home & will know if it needs replacing or not.
It's remained on charge since my first post and I'm seeing no improvement. It's been off charge over night and it reads 8+ volts. Not looking good then.
