Hi all. Just went to move our van for the first time this season, and motor mover not working. Older style manual engage Carver motor mover. Red LED on top of motor mover controller flashes 3 times when you try to start unit by powering up the remote controller, which the label on the lid says is a short to chassis. Pressing the reset button resets the unit but trying to power up again gives the same result.
Tried disconnecting the motors via their connectors, and if you connect the left motor only it powers up and the motor works. Connecing the right one causes the problem to reappear. The unit was working fine when we put the van down the drive at the end of last season, so not sure why this has happened. Can't see any obvious damage to the cables to the motor underneath the van.
Could water have got into the motor somehow, or would it fail due to frost or does anyone have any ideas / suggestions ?
Thanks in advance. Keith and Valerie.
