I bought a new Lunar Delta RS 18 months ago and now have a large damp mark on the front offside wall where it leaks and has been leaking for some time. My dealer is going to deal with it but for a £20k + caravan with other problems as well, I think it's not fit for purpose? Has anyone else had a water ingress problem with their Lunar? Steve form Horley.
sorry about your van looks like its been leaking from new to be so bad,i have to agree, I think it's not fit for purpose too.have you asked for a replacement?
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
I would be inclined to ask the dealer why they did not pick up the damp on the 12 month service. If they maintain it was dry then, what has caused it to leak in the past six months.

The caravan next to me in storage is around the same age as yours. Its a quasar though and the owner has just had to take it back to the dealer for water ingress. My Lexon is a 2004 and was damp free when I bought it but will have to see if its still damp free when I have it serviced in 2 weeks.
2011 Eldis went in for first service had high readings can't go in till 2 march luckily it's indoor stored!!! Also not impressed at 20k plus van leaking
Good point about the dealer, I think he should have spotted it on the last service. I sent an email to Lunar and they said my contract is with the dealer etc so they weren't particularly interested. Anyway, it seems there are a few leaky vans about.
I have a Quasar 524 and have no problems with leaks, or anything else for that matter. I think that for every make of van there will always be an example, or two, that has problems.
