Hi,

So a successful first outing if the year with teh exception of our bathroom tap which is leeking from the top (fortunately into the basin!).

It is a mixer tap with the shower head built in which extends out. I need to replace it...but with what??

Having had a quick look online there are all kinds of terms such as micro switches; different fitment sizes (27mm or 33mm seem popukar etc). I cannot work out what I am supposed to get. I have to store the van away from the house so am limited by when I canget the old one out to look at it so was hoping somebody might know what tap, or even better an example/link, that I need.

As per the tiytle I am in a Bailey Pegasus Bretagne Series 5 (early 2005) 6 berth.

Thanks in advance!
Ian

Crikey, some of those parts are pricey, especially the Bailey original bits for the Bretagne.

Ian, do you make use of the shower and need the retractable hose? I ask only because I changed the mixer/shower tap in our 500/5 for a conventional sink monoblock tap which works well, as I have no need for the shower type tap. This is far cheaper and actually provides less 'splash' as the tap length is shorter.

Fantastic guys, thank you.

Paul - I was surprised at the cost as well but I suppose that is what cornering the market is all about!

Unfortunately we do use the shower facility so would need to retain that in place. I did look at whether we could move it back to a standard tap but 'she who must be obeyed' was quite insistent! We do quite a few rallies etc so haveing the capability is a plus point.

Better get the cheque book out....
