After camping in tents for a few years we decided to get a caravan for this year to see what its like. I bought a fleetwood garland 165/4 last week and set everything up to make sure it all worked but dont know how to get hot water. We dont even know if its heated from gas or electric as a manual didnt come with the caravan. If anyone could give me some advice I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance, Joel.

i guess it could have a carver 2 water heater. some are just gas and some are gas and electric. see bottom of garys page

Its a 1994 model and I think it has a malaga e water heater.

I've seen these fitted to Garlands before (nice 'van by the way )

They look very similar to the Cascade, but I've never actually worked one.

maybe a few pics of the heater (inside & outside) & any associated control panels would help.

Hi, did you ever get to know how to make the Garlands water system work... I have the same issue (lack of know how)
