Have Elddis Wisp around about 1991, when electric cable plugged in, plugs work. Internal lights don't work. Tried fuses, panel etc. No battery in caravan.    Anyone have any suggestions.

It may be that the lights are 12v's and require the battery to operate?

The reason why the internal lights don't work is because you don't have a 12 volt battery on board. There are usually 2 lights that operate from the 240 volt mains and all the remaining ones are powered by 12 volts. Try connecting a battery (even a 12 volt car battery) just to see if they work then.

On a similar theme. I have a Shamal. WIth EHU and battery in place, the 12v lights sometimes work and sometimes don't. Do you think it could be a loose connection in the battery?

Thanks
Feezee
