ours was mouldy as well luckily not the cushions but the walls and units were covered ,we had on a cover and loads of salt ,wont be using either next year as next door had no salt or cover and no mould
Been a really damp winter here to in Scotland. My van though it was well ventilated had bad condensation.yet going back to see it a week later it had all gone.A few others on here has had the same prob.
We've never had a problem with mould thus far, but don at t use a cover. If a cover, covers up the vents, then this can't be a good thing can it?
We air the van a couple of times through the winter when there's a warm day , lift the roof vents, open windows etc. Also heat it up and get it to a really warm temperature in there a couple of times a winter.
Our last trip is in October and first in Feb, so for us this period is only 3 and half months.
Just looking online, and to clean white vinegar is mentioned a lot. Take a look at this site.
We went into our van yesterday for the first time since we put the covers on at the end of September it was bone dry not a sign of damp or mold we use two covers never had a problem
I had a similar problem last winter (10/11), there was no mould on the seats but on some of the wood panneling. I just used this mould remover product i picked up online, worked ok. Just made sure that in the 12' winter i aired the van out regularly and i havn't found any yet
