Success! It must have been the reset button. Hot water working by emersion heater. Not too worried about the gas side. The last caravan I had was years ago, cold water only with a foot pump and a porta potty in a cupboard. I am learning a lot from this forum. Thanks for the help.

Fred.

possible this time of year your non-return valve is stuck.cold water runs ok but no supply to the hot taps.also means no water is going into your water heater tank because it is not getting through.to check fill all barrel with water add the pump as normal.remove the drain plug outside.get someone to switch on the pump at the switch for 30 seconds.if water is gushing out then the non return valve is ok.if only a slight water loss the non return is stuck.i cured mine by using a 12 inch water colour brush inserted into the drain hole very gently.get someone to switch the pump on again 30 seconds before doing this.only prod gently as you are only trying to dislodge the valve.if you are lucky water will gush out and get you wet.switch off pump and refit the drain plug.this site will tell you how to replace a non return valve.
