Hi All,
Took out My Caravan recently for first time this year, and the Sink Mixer Tap In Kitched Area (chrome type) hardly worked at all..just dripping slowly, or a small trickle . The Bathroom ones were perfect, and the pump in the Water Barrell seemed O.K . Just seemed to have no pressure to it. There seems to be no micro switch on it (like the older type) ,just a direct feed from the supply. Does anybody know whether there is a washer inside the Tap Unit ? Maybe Perished ? Any Other Ideas ?? We had to stretch the Shower Head to the sink to wash the dishes !! Not Ideal !!

Was that both hot and cold and could you hear the pump running? I wonder if there has been some frost damage inside the tap, it may be that the valves aren't opening properly.

As other taps are ok this rules out pressure problem. Some makes of tap have a filter this may be blocked, but the only way is to take tap apart and see what is obstructing flow.

Does the tap have a strainer fitted at the end of the spout? This will normally just unscrew from the end. You may find that a build up of various deposits are restricting the flow of water.

We had this very same problem and after a lot of technical answers we had one that suggested that we unscrew the tap head and see if it was blocked.  The very end of the tap - not at the point where it joins the sink. The advice was to put a cloth around the head so as not to scratch it and look for the flattened bit to get purchase - we used a  spanner I think, and lo and behold there was a collection of fluff and stuff. Cleared it out and it was fixed.  I recommend you try this first as we were completely stumped and not very 'handy' and dreading having to do anything technical!

Hope this works for you too!
