I switched the fridge on in our van to see if it worked yesterday morning, after running it all day......................nowt, not cold at all, then Digger said "you have got the van level haven't you?, as they have to be level to work", so I levelled the van yesterday afternoon, switched on the fridge again and guess what?, blooming fingers stuck to the ice box last night it was that cold

Chilled beer anyone?

thank you digger for the advice

Rob

Hi there

I think you may have solved a problem for us we shall see tomorrow, we recently bought an elddis pamperos delux which is a beautiful van but we have not been able to get the fridge to work, having reading your post we went out and we have a little level on the front of the van and it is showing that the van is definitly not level so we're hoping we can sort it by levelling the van. many thanks for your help even though you didn't realise you were giving it .

thanks

tammy.

you are very welcome tammy, I hope your fridge now works too!, by the way I id also find that you can get an air lock in the system (Amonnia) and to cure it you do as I did...........turn the fridge upside down for 24 Hours!!!, I did this as I had it out to repair damp in the corner anyway, worth a try if when level it still doesn't work?

Just a baby Rob, original gas/12volt Electrolux 122, 26 years old and still running well, had to turn it a couple of years ago but that cured the problems. You can't beat the quality of the old gear! Even found out I could upgrade to the gas/240/12volt for £300 Who needs lecky!

Still alive and kicking!

hi bumbles 5

if the fridge is not working in one mode try the others  , I ,e if you tried it on 240 and its not working try it on gas or 12v  , this will tell you where the fault lies in either the fridge or the power delivery .
