Can't believe I just did this. Just been cleaning the flies off the drop down fly screen on my caravan skylight. As I was brushing backwards and forwards with a small cloth the edge of my finger nail caught the fine mesh and ripped a 3 inch hole in it. ( I wont repeat the obscenity I shouted at myself as I did this...although I think most of the neighbours heard ) Its a 1999 elddis 400/4 firestorm. I can't imagine for one moment the flyscreen attachment is still available. I know its not going to stop me going caravaning, however this is going to niggle me as I just know its there. If anyone knows the website of a good breaker or any other clever solutions rather than a strip of sellotape I would be very grateful.

You never know, although its fitted to you Elddis is made by a company that supplies the trade in general. If its done this on yours I bet its been done a few times, probably weakened by UV exposure over time.
Have you any idea of make, (Hekki, Seitz etc) and size? You mention its a drop down rather than a roll up type, can the mesh be refitted or is it welded in?
Hi guys I have found a screen on the internet on the link below. This is what it looks like. I cant find a make on mine. The screen door on mine is 37 1/2 inches square. I will be looking further. Knowing my luck mine will be an odd size lol.
if it the square type one, i just brought some of the material of flee bay and used a glue gun to attach it to the old frame, after removing all the old material
Sorry to waste your time on this one. Just been to a caravan shop with my screen and they gave me a new one over the counter exactly the same as my original. Apparently they come in standard sizes and colours. £7,50. Problem solved ;)
