Hi,
i was storing my caravan at a friends for a week whilst i changed secured storage sites. In moving it i clashed with a hedge and now a have a 5mm puncture in the outer aluminium skin .
Completely gutted. I am looking to approach a repair as follows.
Rub down local area
Use a timber dowel to depress the puncture and push in the timber matrix that has popped out
Fill with car body filler
Let it go off and rub down
match paint as best as possible and spray over.
It would be greatly appreciated if someone can confirm if this is correct or otherwise.
One fed up caravanner.
Regards,
Mick
