I have a slight hairline crack in the back panel of my Avondale, approx 35mm in length. I have been advised to replace the back panel at a cost of £1900, surely not!! Can any of you guys advise how I can stop the crack getting worse, protect against damp and body fill to make good.

i think cracked panels finished avondale off.there is sonic welding that is used at some dealers.only seen it used outside once on my bumper and you could not tell.hard bit is finding a guy to do it.

I had the same thing with mine only it was the front panal above the window,took it to Reads Caravans at Blackburn the sorted out in no time but not cheap but better than a new panal.Ian
