Hi everyone, newbie lol

could someone shed some light on this please?

we have just purchased a 2000 elddis gtx with the electrolux rm-4290 / rm-4291 3 way fridge.

the problem is, it will NOT work on 240v even though the green light is on BUT it works fantastic on gas!

any advice would be great

regards

mark

green light is on means there is electric supply.possibly the element has failed.could be damp if the fuse is ok.run it gas for 5 to 10 hours and try again.normaly if the element has gone it will trip out when you try to switch on.

Could also be the thermostat stuck in the 'off' position, the mains light in the on/off switch remains lit even if the element is not powered through the thermostat.

Have you tried rotating the control knob for the temperature backwards and forwards a few times?
