I made new covers for mine - not the most talented seamstress in the world so I kept things simple and made large recatnagular covers with envelope ends held closed with velcro.

I recovered mine pulled the old covers off and used them as a template,Had the buttons recovered,made new curtains using the tape that came off the old ones.
