hi all noticed that the new van to us handbrake didnt seem to work,when looking noticed that the little arm was not in the slot so would not click and stay in the teeth. and it looked buckled.so got under it and undone the big nut and took it apart,slid the bolt out and a big nut dropped out and a hook part. right what i need to know if anyone could help please is, how do i get this back together? i put the cog back as it should and got it in right postion on the arm part and put bold into hole but not sure how and where the nut goes and also there is are arm hook part that is joned to a part that also needs to have the bolt put through it.any help guys and gals be great as im very very dirty and still no joy. i know this isnt very good way ov describing  but i hope someone understands my madness ha ha thanks all Dean

this does help a little but was hoping someone on here have done the same and may possibly be able to explain in more detail but thanks for the link.

thanks Michael ust a update,it is all back together and working but,there is lots ov play in it and cannot tighten anymore so going to have to get it apart and use new washers,i think it be better if there is a bigger washer on outside and slightly smaller washer on inside this will take away the play and also allow the cog to go slightly further onto the metal thing that holds the cog in place,will keep you upto date on how it works out after alterations. thanks again Dean
