We're just about to buy a 2009 bailey privately, but they have just said its not been serviced since feb 2010, if we were to get it serviced now would the warranty still be valid? I am unsure of the actual time frame bailey gives and they are on an extended jubilee holiday this week we are unable to contact them.
My husband and his dad have lots of experience with caravans and know what to check when they look at it, but just wondering if we should get them to bring the price down. Currently we've said £9000 for a 540/6 pageant Bretagne, which I thought was a good price but not if it has damp and is going to cost a lot of money to put right.
No bailey are very strict with there warranty rules, must be serviced by a dealer each year to maintain the warranty including body warranty.Ask for a full service and a written damp report before you buy, plus any dealer warranty they will give you.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
